Work History:

  • Began career in 1994 with Steensen Varming Australia (SVA)
  • Joined Clarence Consultants in 2004 and recently became a director for the practice
  • Extensive Building Services experience in the Design, Documentation and Contract Administration of projects involving air-conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, medical gases, building BCA upgrade, retrofit of existing plant, and building management & control systems
  • Projects include Health, Cultural, Recreational, Institutional, Industrial, and Commercial buildings

Projects Undertaken:

  • Commercial – Park Beach Plaza Coffs Harbour; Gateway House Coffs Harbour; Centrelink Parkes; Gerard Centre Grafton
  • Medical – St Vincent's Hospital Sydney; Coffs Harbour Health Campus Medical Centre; Ballina Hospital Emergency Department
  • Government – Coffs Harbour Airport; Rigby House Coffs Harbour
  • Schools – Clarence Valley Anglican College, Grafton; McAuley Catholic College, Grafton

Professional Interests:

  • Ventilation and air conditioning systems – ensuring they meet the requirements of the EP&A Act and the BCA
  • Committed to the development of young engineers and the fostering of young people into engineering practice
  • Encouraging use of modern engineering design software techniques to create an environment of informed, sustainable design decision making
